Today is a very depressing day because today after 18 years LPCH existing at their satellite unit at Washingon Hospital we are closing our doors tonight. I've worked with so many wonderful nurses and to some have a special relationship with them. We've grown together over the years and have seen good and the bad events in our lives. We've seen our children grow up. It is definitely a special place in my heart always and forever. Love you guys! Here's a little snippet of my time at LPCH SCN.

Dreamy Digital Canvas Shadowbox
Lately, I have been wanting to decorate my house. One of my projects is in our master bedroom. In here I would love to create a photo gallery celebrating US. I am thinking of a mixture of Canvas, frames, Quotes, shadow boxes with pieces from our wedding i.e. wedding favors. I started off with this
Heidi Swapp Wooden Shadow box Frame digi Canvas project. I first painted it with white acrylic paint let it dry. In photoshop I used Heidi Swapp's digital phrase that I had onto one of my favorite photo that was taken in Hawaii by Red Heart Photography and added more digital elements from Heidi Swapp's digi shop. Hearts and word phrases are from Instaframes Colorfuls and just randomly placed it above us. You can see my tutorial post on how to add word art here. Once all that is done I printed it onto Sticky back Canvas by Ranger. I then adhered these amazing ephemera from her new collection Dreamy. You won't believe how packed full this little package has! I just love every piece! Oh and that cute glittery gold star you see? It's from her Glittery Gold Stickers that's available at Michaels. I also added that "xoxo" from Amy Tan's new line Plus One collection. Very simple and yet beautiful piece to my photo gallery of US.
Weekend Getaway
Hey there fellow crafters. It's been a long time. Here's a late post from last month. During Valentine's weekend we took a short trip to Monterey Bay and visited the aquarium at Cannery Row which is one of our favorite spots since our daughter was little. We love spending time together so what better way to have a small getaway. We stopped over Gilroy first, home of Garlic. Yes you can smell it too. That night we had dinner at Bucca di Peppo which is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. The next day we headed to Monterey.
I think my favorite part of the aquarium are the jelly fishes. So amazing to look at!

Love capturing my daughter photographing what she sees.
Amazing!
