More of the Halloween mini album

Here's more of the Halloween mini book I've been working on.  To make the haunted house I used HOF 3's digi house from their welcome home kit.  I then used my craft knife to cut the windows so that they open up and see the SPOOky elements inside.  I think this is my favorite page.  Enjoy!

I'm always amazed with those awesomely talented ladies at HOUSE of 3!!  I can't get enough of their creative energy.  Check out HOF 3 blog where Rhonna features muah.  :)  How cool is that?

Here's a page I used HOF 3 digi frame and canvas paper.  Notice the digi frame is distressed.  I distressed it using one of my digi distressed texture brushes.  Pretty cool!  I'm so loving hybrid digital scrapbooking.  The creative possibilities are endless!

Goodbye summer...hello fall.

I can't help but see all the Halloween Decorations and thought I'd start making a mini album.  I've used some HOF 3 halloween goodies and some new Halloween stuff that I got awhile back.  Here's a few sneaks.....

New MME Lost and Found

OMG!  Have you seen the new MME papers?  They're so gorgeous.  I got these from my local store Art Inspired Studios I can't wait to create something with these.  Although,  they are too gorgeous to cut up.  Here's some photos.....

Here's more photos from CE 2010.  Here's some of Heidi's work at the Trunk Show.  I loved the trunk show

because it showcased all of the teachers' work.  The big plus was that we got a chance to really chat with them and take pictures.    How cool is that?  Well....I'm happy to say that I'm no stranger to Heidi.  Yay!  I so love her!  She's so inspirational, talented, sweet, funny,pretty and such a nice person.  But mann...she's one crazy busy mama!  (can you tell she's my all time fave? wink)  You can read about her recap of CE on her blog and about me.  Yes, me.  I was so excited.

Here are samples of her new products with Tattered Angels that debuted last CHA summer.  They're tags with resist and flocked words.  The great thing is...you just spray on your favorite glimmer mist products and WOW!  How gorgeous! 

Heidi and the HOF 3 gals; Rhonna and Janet were there too.  They do this webshow every Wednesday to show techniques, new products and  just be plain silly!  This time they were doing the webshow LIVE at Creative Escape!  Yay!  Here's some photos that I was able to capture.  Tons of energy in the room and some teachers were there talking about their class.  Btw, Rhonna Farrer as cute and talented she is...also talked about me on her blog and posted pix that I took.  Check out her blog.

There's wonderful Margie-Romney Aslett of Girls Paperie.  She's such a hoot.  Her class was so much fun too.

Here's a mini album I created to house my pix and teachers signatures from the event.  I made it out of KI memories plastic placement material.  On the back... I created a pocket so that the last page of the mini book can be slipped in and hold the book.  I used my bind it all to bind all the papers together.
Even Rhonna, Heidi, Maggie, Teresa and Margie loved it.  That means a lot coming from these uber talented ladies!  Here they are.

This is what Teresa Collins puts her class kits in.  IT's like pizza boxes and it's filled with all of products for her class.

Some make n takes and free paper packs.

We also received that book that has all the instructions to all of our classes.  Great idea!!

Well.... I had such a great time and I still have some projects to finish. Maybe next year?

We'll see.

Creative Escape 2010

Here are some more pictures from the event.  I'll have more later.  The event took place at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Arizona.  We arrived Wednesday afternoon and was able to rest and relax.  We had dinner at the restaraunt in the resort since there wasn't any other places that were nearby.  Food was excellent I must say.  So, the next day we woke up early to register and to check out the on site store... Scrapbook Etc.  We also registered that day and we all received a cute plastic tote that was pretty sturdy considering how much stuff I had to lug around by the end of the day.

The opening ceremony presented the teachers of Creative Escape and they all received those cute blingy aprons by Mr. Bazzill.  These were all created with Michael Miller fabrics.  So cute!

Back from Creative Escape!

Wheww!  Wow!  What an experience!  It was definitely an inspiration to be a part of.  Not only do I get to see Heidi Swapp and the House of 3 girls- Rhonna and Janet but all the other teachers as well.  Such as Teresa Collins, Margie Romney Aslett, Maggie Holmes, Trisha Ladouceur, Pam Black, Claudine Hellmuth and Jessica Sprague.  You have a chance to meet many women from all over who share your love and passion for scrapbooking.  We're in class all day and I must say it was tiring.  It was also in Arizona so it was definitely hot!  Although, we were inside for the most part.  Here's a link to the LIVE HOUSE OF 3 webshow.   Look for me and Jenn!  Heehee!  More pictures to follow.

Summer CHA 2010 has come and gone. Lots of new stuff.

There's so many new inspiring products out there.  I love Heidi Swapp's new products with Tattered Angels.  Also, HOF 3's new line with Pink Paislee.  So fun!  I want all of them.  Here's a video by Paperlife with Tattered Angels.

We're so excited to see my girl on the front cover of the Bay Area Parent Magazine  http://eastbay.parenthood.com/ .    She had a blast during this photo shoot and was wanting to do more gigs like that.  We're proud of you, honey.
