Scrapbook canvas finished

Back in a previous post, I posted some sneeks of my scrapbook canvas I was working on. Late last week I finally glued them together. I was finished with everything just had to glue it on. Anyways, here are some pictures. Hope you like it. Enjoy!

A beautiful day in the city

What a beautiful day in the city! Finally, we see sunlight after all that rain we've been having.

We decided to head to the city early before the Manny Pacquiao fight at our cousin's house. We stopped over our favorite gourmet ice cream shop called Bi-Rite. Yummm! Once we got there, there was a line around the corner. Yup... it's that good. My favorite flavors are salted caramel, malted vanilla and I just tried honey lavender. Ahhhh.... such a treat. I also got some great snapshots from our day.

My other passion is PhoTogRaphy...

Photography is my other passion and strive to capture those moments as best as I could. There's so many different styles of photographers out there and my favorite is Jasmine Starr who is located in Southern California. I love her work, what she stands for, her philosophy in life, work and just down right down to earth. Check out her blog where she has a video that talks about who she is.

An itch to go to a scrapbook store....

Well, since I couldn't go to The Girlfriend's Garage grand opening... I had the urge to check out the new stuff from CHA winter and be inspired. So, along with my family we took a trip to Scrapbook Territory in Berkeley. Never a disappointment. Love shopping at a scrapbook store and getting that inspiration to create.

New scrapbook store opened up in my hometown....

As we all know, local scrapbook stores are very rare these days. Sad. It's even more important for them to keep up with the trends, have classes that are of the scrapbookers interest, have a supply of essentials on hand such as cardstock, adhesives etc. Along with all this is great customer service. I'm happy to say that my dear friends from Scrap for a Cure Kit Club opened a scrapbook store in my home town. Yeah!! It's called The Girlfriend's Garage because it's located at one of the owner's Patti's garage. They have it all decked out with scrapbook supplies and tables for crops. They had a Grand Opening event last weekend but unfortunately I couldn't go because I worked. If you're in town stop by and say hello. Tell them I sent you there. These gals will be at the Scrapbook Expo the weekend of March 19th in Pleasanton. So come on by and check them out! They're also teaching some classes there.

A great friend, coffee and a new local scrap store...

Don't you just love coffee in the morning? Starbucks has these cute hearts on their cups. Love it! Today I had a great time catching up with friends and I got to see my friends' Scrap for a Cure's new Scrapbook store called The Girlfriend's Garage. So excited for them. Yeah!

House of 3 Simply Amazing kit

I bought HOF 3's Simply amazing kit and changed it up a little. It has a calendar so I can jot down notes, events, ideas etc. It acts as a documentary of my everyday. I also created a place to take notes of pictures I take and photo journaling. There's also a Creative section where it has pictures that inspire me, project notes, creative goals and business projects as well. Just where I can write down all my ideas. I'll have more pictures of my book.

Heidi Swapp's Creative Escape lottery drawing coming soon

I so have been wanting to go to Heidi Swapp's Creative Escape for so long! It's so popular that they have to do lottery drawing for people to register. Read Heidi Swapp's blog or a little description of teachers she has lined up.
So inspiring! It's held in Arizona at the Sheratons Wild Horse Pass Spa and Resort.

Hopefully, this year I'll get picked again and be able to go with someone.

Peek at what I'm working on

Here's a peek at what I've been working on to hang in my scraproom. I have this idea to dress up my room with all kinds of inspirations from picture frames, pix of scrappy friends, scrap celebs, layouts and oh so cute vinyl frames. I've been collecting over the years things I wanted to hang in my room. I just now started putting things up because I was just visualizing it. I still need to add some vinyl phrases and a few more details then I think I'll be done. I think it maybe a little much but I LOVE it! Now just to paint my room PINK! Heehee! Here's a few pieces of the project.
