POSH "BEST FRIEND" layout

Check out our design team blog featuring my BEST FRIEND layout.  Posh collection was perfect to do a layout of my BF Lisa because we're all about the bling and the girly girl.  This was a layout of us celebrating our birthdays which are only 17 days apart.  It was so fun creating this.

MOUSE,PAPER,SCISSORS

I'm sooo excited to take Jessica Sprague and Heidi Swapp's hybrid class MOUSE,PAPER,SCISSORS!  I love Jessica's classes on digital because she's such an awesome teacher and of course, Heidi Swapp.  Need I say more.  I got my kit and it's full of glimmery goodness, wooden mirror, adhesives, glitter and Pink Paislee's HOF 3 Daily Junque.   Can't wait!  This is taken from Heidi Swapp.

Teresa Collins Design Team has a blog

Teresa Collins has a design team blog now.  This is where you'll find great inspirations from TC design team members.  Not only will you get some samples using Teresa Collins Designs products but they will also have some tutorials.  Here's a ring I created with POSH from the Design Team blog.

I bought these rings on etsy.   http://www.etsy.com/listing/61263719/25-oval-shaped-ring-basessterling-silver?ref=v1_other_1   It comes in packs so you can make tons of rings to your hearts content.
I also used Tim Holtz Ideology facets.  You will also need Glossy accents.

POSH paper collection

Posh Butterflies
PosH Gray Flourishes

First apply Glossy accents on the back of Tim Holtz facet piece then place it on top of the POSH gray flourishes (damask print) Set aside to dry.  Then trace the face of the ring onto POSH butterflies then cut.  Then trim so that it fits into the groove of the ring by applying glossy accents to adhere.  Going back Tim Holtz facet once it's dry cut around it then apply glossy accents to adhere on top of the POSH butterflies.  I hope to see your creations using Teresa Collins beautiful POSH collection.

thanks for looking!

POSH

POSH...love this line by Teresa Collins.  It matches my scrap studio and I just love damask, black and white and all the pinks.  What's there not to love?  Teresa posted my project on her blog today. Yay!  I love how I just took an old frame I've had and created an interactive mini book that can be an added home decor.  The best thing is too is that I can change out the book and create another one.
The photos are taken by me in 2009 of my 3 beautiful nieces and my gorgeous daughter as a Christmas present for grandparents.  So go on over and check out Teresa Collins new CHA winter collections.

CHA Winter DAY 1

I finally had succumb to pay for the extra storage for my blog which compared to paying 14.95 or more per month for other blogs.. it was $5 for the year for 20mb more.  I can now finally post an update from CHA.  I loove attending CHA and be surrounded by friends, inspiration, make n takes, classes and not to mention...all the scrapbook celebs.  Of course, seeing all the new product releases in person.  It's such a different experience because they'll demo it and see the many samples that was used using those new products.  CHA is usually in ANAHEIM which btw, is way better than having it downtown LA.  The convention is just easier to get to from your hotel and you don't have to pay an insane amount of taxi fares.  Here's day one.... just me and my BF LISA. Here's some photos taken from Lisa.

My very good friend Patti.  She's such a sweet and crazy friend.

Here's Patti's sidekick...Diana.  She's another good friend of mine and such sweet person too.  Together they own ART INSPIRED STUDIOS in Brentwood.  That's Brentwood in Northern California.  If you're ever in town or plan a trip to just visit to shop for some awesome scrapbooking products their store is where you want to definitely go.  Be careful, you'll do some serious damage.

First...check out Teresa Collins Booth.  Swoon!   Isn't it beautiful?

Here's a layout I used POSH collection.  I knew I had to do a layout with my best friend, LISA because this collection is just so us.  I used some of Teresa's bling gems and cut up some butterflies and clocks.  The clocks are from her other new collection called TIMELESS.

Oh my... and check out this POSH lace transparency.  It's to die for!!  So in love.

Here's a mini book which later will be featured on Teresa's blog that's in a frame.

Teresa has a collection with Coredinations that's called PRINCE and PRINCESS.  It coordinates with 2 of her new collections...ON THE EDGE and POSH.  It's sandable paper that reveals a design.

unable to post pix

Apparently, I've used my max for pix on this blog.  What?  I have so many pix from CHA to catch up on but I can't post anymore.  Sorry.  I have to figure out what to do.  Any suggestions?  I don't want to pay for more storage on blogger.  Thanks!

CHA WINTER 2011- LA

Just to back track...We woke up super early to catch our flight at 835am which we had to leave the house around 545am.  What were we thinking?  I guess we were so excited for our trip.  Well... we arrived at LAX and headed to our hotel.  Rested a bit then headed out to The Grove.  We took the taxi which the guy I swear took us a longer route because it was much cheaper going home.  I'm so not a fan of riding taxis.
I love, love The Grove.  The weather was so perfect for an outdoor shopping plaza.  There was a free concert going on.  It was great because while we ate dinner we had live music playing and then there was a cute couple totally getting their groove on while they waited for their food.   After dinner I enjoyed my favorite coffee in LA by COFFEE BEAN. Yummy!  Then we headed to our hotel to get ready for the first day of Creative Inspiration!

Day one at CHA winter 2011.  It's always exciting to be at CHA where all you see are new products, inspiring people, Scrapbook celebs and a chance to touch, feel and play with new products.  This year CHA was in a different venue- LA convention center Downtown Los Angeles.  It was me and my BFFL - Lisa.  We had such a fabulous time!
First stop... Teresa Collins.   Here's a picture of Teresa and her beautiful daughters.  They're so cute!

I finally got to meet a couple of the ladies on Teresa's design team.  (from right to left)
Sesil who is the design team coordinator.  She's so awesome and wears many hats making sure things go smoothly for Teresa.  There's Yvonne...so talented and such a sweetheart!  Yvonne and Sesil are both so sweet. I'm so lucky to be working with such special ladies.

Of course, me and Teresa Collins.  LOVE HER!!  She's such a sweet, talented and genuine person!
