Heidi Swapp at Scrapbook Island in San Jose

I can't believe that Heidi Swapp actually came to Northern California and taught classes atScrapbook Island in San Jose. I went with Michelle and Jenn. Great friends, scrapbooking and Heidi.... what more can you ask for. All I can say was.... So inspirational. I love her stories and personal introduction right before she begins teaching the class. We got down and messy last Saturday using Tattered Angels Glimmer mist to make an album. Then later that afternoon we created a mini album from House of 3. Check out Heidi's blog. A picture of us is on there. Heehee! Yay! Here are some pictures.

Wendy from Tattered Angels demonstrating how to use Tattered angels new products. Fun!

I created a canvas/ hybrid project for her to sign using Tattered Angels glimmer mist, HOF 3 new Garden Bliss 5x7 digital kit. I used their digital brush and printed the first page on transparency. I also printed some of the pages onto canvas too and hooked them all together using from my stash from long, long ago with a binding clip. (don't know what it's called). Funny.... I had won the House of 3 housewarming book contest grand prize when they first started last year. She actually remembered me. Haha! So giddy. blush. I'm such a nerd. I know, I know. Can you tell she's my scrappy "idol"? It's nice to be recognized especially from someone you admire and who inspires you. Hope I'll be able to take more classes from her soon. I leave you with more pictures.

Scrapbook Island adorned each class with treats decorated with flowers.

Looks amazing! She is so much fun! She came to one of our LSS last summer and I made a little HO3 autograph book but love yours more! So, love all the photos you took. Did you take them all non-auto? Love them, you did a great job! *hugs from Texas

Thanks! Me too. I love learning new techniques and glimmer mist is something you really need to learn.
Nancy- thanks for the wonderful comments. I actually shot them in either AV or shutter mode. I should've changed it to auto when others were taking our picture due to camera shake. My silhouett is still in the box. sigh.. I'm waiting for the mac software update. Not sure if I should hook it up to our PC in the meantime. I want to learn how to use it already.
